This has been a favorite spot for their lunch buffet. But on a recent visit, the downward spiral continues. Not sure it is related but first noticed the changes for the worse over a year ago when hotel management changed. First, the food selection seems...to continue going down both in quantity and quality. Not only is the quality slipping but also the presentation. One of my favorite things has always been a good selection of cheeses. Now only a small selection of average Mexican cheeses and the cheese and meat selection was often left in disarray with no replenishing . Sad. Also the number of main items seems less and of lower quality. The same with the soups and the area was often in disorder with spilled soup. A big disappoint was the service. It has always been stellar but not so this visit. The waiter had to be flagged down when needed. And the final insult, which I never seen in Merida, was that the waiter came and cleared the table while we were still enjoying coffee. Seemed like a huge hint that it was time for us to move on. We did. I hope it improves but now I can no recommend.

Nos llevo nuestra tía originaria de aquí y fuimos (apesar de que nos recomendaron ir a Chaya Maya) segun nos contó, allá solo van turistas y en este restaurante van localed y turistas (los almendros) y estaban celebrando su 50 aniversario.Los precios bastante razonables.Mis hijoa adoraron la sopa de Lima, yo pedi Poc Chuc y mi esposo el especial del día.. Una DELICIA!!Ampliamente recomendado.Deliciosa el agua de piña y chaya!
